New Delhi, Dec 13, 2025 — Indian pharmaceutical company Adven Biotech has become the first homoeopathic brand in the country to receive the Ayush Premium Homoeopathic Certification from the Ministry of Ayush. The award recognises high standards in safety, purity and quality for homoeopathic medicines made in India.
Adven said the certification sets its products on par with global quality norms and supports India’s traditional medicine sector in global markets.
What Ayush Premium Homoeopathic Certification Means
The Ayush Premium Homoeopathic Certification is part of the Ayush Quality Mark Programme. It was launched by the Ministry of Ayush in cooperation with the Ayush Export Promotion Council (AYUSHEXCIL). The programme ensures that certified products meet strict standards for purity, safety, and consistency.
Adven Biotech’s CEO, Adesh Sharma, said the certification validates the company’s work in producing accessible, scientifically backed homoeopathic medicines. He added this recognition strengthens the brand’s mission to elevate India’s homoeopathic sector and improve global trust in Indian products.
Representatives from the Ministry of Ayush also commented on the certification. Rajeshwar Tiwari, a senior official, said that India is setting quality benchmarks in the Ayush industry. He noted the Ayush Premium Mark will help the country advance toward leadership in traditional medicine worldwide.
Importance for Indian Homoeopathy
The new certification arrives at a time when India’s homoeopathic industry is expanding with improved manufacturing standards and international interest. Government policies such as ‘Make in India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ are encouraging local companies to aim for global recognition.
Experts believe certifications like Ayush Premium will improve confidence in Indian homoeopathic products abroad and contribute to the sector’s long-term growth.
